I don’t know how I went all those years living in Baton Rouge without catching a whiff of this, but Maison Lacour puts on an event entitled “Baton Rouge Night” several times during the course of the year. As stated on their website:
Baton Rouge Night is a special charitable event started in 1987. The seven course menu starts with a Kir Royal. Different wines are poured at three points during the meal. The meal is priced at $75.00 per person with all of the proceeds going to a local charity. Maison Lacour provides for all of the costs incurred. The waiters usually donate part of their tips to the charity. More then $335,000 has been raised for local charities.
$75.00 per person for seven courses of classic French cuisine, champagne, and three pourings of wine… for charity! The next two events are sponsoring the McMains Children’s Development Center on September 13 and CASA on October 25 and we hope to be there for one of them!
You can book your reservation by calling the restaurant at 225-275-3755.
