Looking forward to experience New Orleans Po Boy. Thanks for sharing this post. I discovered another great restaurant today that could offer great ambiance and dishes. I am so excited to try their specialties. Hope that there will be a Po Boy branch here in our place. I can also refer this to my friends who are in the field of advertising.

Read this post the first time I ever viewed this website, and it brightened my day. My family started the Ye Olde College Inn and sold it to the current owners before Katrina. Great to hear the food is still amazing!

Martee - I totally agree 100% on this one. Anyone eating at the Inn must also try the Oyster/Blue Cheese appetizer - golden fried oysters w/ blue cheese crumbles over a bed of lettuce and drizzled with blue cheese infused olive oil...fabulous! My mouth is watering thinking about this place.

I have to agree with Martee that if you are looking to stray away from your typical poboy - Ye Old College Inn is the place to go. I also opted for the fried green tomato and shrimp poboy (also an award winner at the New Orleans poboy festival) and it was fantastic. I did get suckered into trying to award winning fried bread pudding and let's just say -- it totally deserves any and every award you could give such a wonderful treat !!!!!
